As I'm new to owning a flat bottom and seeing other boats discharging water from the side by the driver (especially on race boats), is it being discharged from the engine or from the discharge line of the V drive? I'm thinking it's from the engine so that the driver knows the water pump is definitely working. If this is right, should it be taken from the thermostat plate area? I would like to install this system on my boat. Thank you.
