Is an oil cooler needed ?

I have a customer that is replacing his 260 horse with a built 383, New one piece seal block Dart aluminum heads, Bullet HYD roller cam, Champ 8 quart pan, Looking at appox. 425 to 450 horse and should have it on the dyno for a final number tomorrow.



This will be run in fresh water only the boat is 19 foot.



Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
