I just wanted to give a shout out to Phil on his product endeavors.
One of his Quadrants arrived at my doorstep yesterday. I put off opening the box until I was done with some other stuff around the house. I finally ended up opening the box on the couch while watching some TV with the wife. Needless to say the pictures on his site don't do his work justice.
Second was the clamping method designed to hold the steering cable in place, solid design and better than I've seen with other designs. Nice touch Phil!
And lastly......
When I was putting the Quadrant back into it's packing and into it's box the wife muttered, " Are we putting that in the safe tonight?" I smiled and said I don't think so, the boat would be a much better place for it.
Thanks Phil for making a standout part! Just holding one in your hand speaks volumes of the effort that went into this part.
