Has anyone added big power to a Essex Sterling or a Shockwave Skier ? What type of power would it take to run an easy 80-90 plus mph?
I am thinking of shopping for one of these in the spring, and Just cant be running 60 mph for too long. How about a 2' shorty lower and 600 ish hp?
From looking at some of these boats for sale, I notice that some have a pad and some a rounded keel ? Looks like the early ones had the rounded keel ?
