A friend of mind bought a boat last summer w/ a bbc and Berkeley combo. I was looking at the cooling plumbing the other day and the lines come from the pump to a T then in at the block drains. It still come out the thermostat housing. There's also a hose that connects the two water pump ports. Is there any benefit or draw back to this design. I can imagine it would help with sentiment build up.
