I have a 427' bbc sitting on the engine stand and was thinking of building it for my biesemeyer. It's in good running shape with stock bore, but I have some nice parts that I could put in it. The block is a four bolt main, it has a pn#6223 forged 1053 steel crank, and flat top piston w/ stock 7/16 rods.
what I was thinking, was to use a set Oliver 6.660 rods ( that I have set aside)and a set of cp 12:1 pistons w/ 1.245 piston pin height, brodix sts bb-1 heads, profiler sniper jr. manifold w/ 750 dominator, and have a cam custom ground.
so what are everyone's thoughts? open for criticism, opinions, and performance level.
