Question on changing motor location

Motor is currently 18" from back of block to inside transom . Moving it forward to get 28-30" per Gregs advice. ( approx 1 foot ), Installing longer Stringer motor Rails ( I'd like to be able to just line up new rails where old ones were and re drill new holes in the angle , using existing holes already drilled thru the stringers ) and using same motor plates and brackets . Would engine angle be ok ? Or is there a preferred driveline angle limit ? Most around these parts just say move it , get a new driveline , it's done ?

PS : 18" measurement is without jetaway . I will be installing one now so new driveline will only need to be about 8" or less
