I pulled the side tanks out of the hydro this afternoon.
Two problems:
1. there's a loose piece of flat aluminum sheet inside the tank. I guess this is supposed to be a baffle. Is it worth while to cut the tank apart and weld it back in place?
2. The 2" dia. filler neck weld joint is cracked on both tanks.
Are these tanks worth repairing, or is it time to have some polished stainless steel tanks fabricated?
