Again, being the fact that I'm new to flat bottoms, my boat has two pedals for the ride plate (up & down). Thinking it's much like the up/down trim on the outboard tunnel race boats I used to own, I now think I'm confused after reading a story on here about a race where a driver had no down pedal only a handle to use. It got me to really wonder about the use of the pedals on my boat. The "down" pedal is used when, and when is the "up" pedal used? By the way, there is no lock-out handle. Which pedal is used during a straight speed run. An explanation of the dual pedal system would be greatly appreciated before I go out and make a fool of myself or worse, crash it. Thanks
