Trying to figure out the compression ratio of a complete 454, without tearing the whole thing down. Anyone have experience CC'ing an assembled motor? I assume I can put it on a stand and rotate the block to the spark plug hole is horizontal and the piston is at TDC, then use a CCing syringe.
Maybe this is done quickly so the fluid does not all run down past the rings? Maybe use a more viscous fluid? Thoughts?
