Infant loss

I am so heartbroken. My beautiful daughter Makenzie was born on July 22 2014. She was 11 weeks 4 days premature and was diagnosed with trisomy 21. She fought hard and we had many complications along the way. She started having complications and October 5, we had to air evac her to a different hospital to be placed on ECMO heart lung bypass. She fought hard for 9 days on life support but, she wasn't strong enough to make it. Yesterday, Makenzie's mother and I faced the most horrific decision any parent will ever face. We had to remove the support and let her pass. We lost our first and only child at 10:12 last night.
