Rain,rain,rain and rain that’s what’s been going on. This crummy weather is the precursor to the wonderful lower humidity that’s coming our way. Nothings better than floating around in the sunshine with a slight cool breeze and a blue sky…its coming. Sunday afternoons spent floating around eating a picnic lunch. We’ve been known to do a little boating in the rain but not the heavy down pours we’ve been having so what are the boating Bekemeyer’s to do? Well we still do some thinking about boating and we decided to make an Adventure in Boating Facebook page.



We just added our page yesterday and have already met some new boaters in our hometown and are planning a get together soon with this new boating family. We are looking forward to posting pictures in real time and expanding communication between fellow boaters. It’s the whole reason we started our website to encourage boating families. We’ll also be able to post events and get the message out about what’s happening in the area. This Fall brings boating races, Toys for Tots boat run, waterside family events in Tavares and Eustis and Christmas boat parades.
