I am going to install a new prop on my Schiada. My past experience was:
1. See where prop fits on shaft w/o key.
2. Cut key stock to length. (Question? How long? I know, not to exceed prop dimensions)
3. Install prop with key on shaft and check position to where prop was w/o key.
4. Install NY-lock nut.
As you can imagine, the prop was $$$. I don't want to screw anything up for both safety and $$ reasons.
Your expert input is greatly appreciated.
