I have a complete engine that I pulled apart for inspection, ready for someone to put back together. It is a very low hours pump gas engine that perhaps makes in the 450 horsepower range or better, $3300
Parts consist of the following:
2 bolt MK IV 454 block that has been bored .060" over
Cast GM crank that has been machine polished
3/8" Gm rods that were reconditioned with ARP bolts
Forged Speed Pro pistons
Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold (clean)
Harland Sharp roller rockers
Clay Smith hydraulic roller cam
Cloyes timing set
GM timing cover
Cast aluminum oil pan
GM damper
Edelbrock #1410 750cfm marine carb
Accel HEI distributor
New parts included:
Clevite rod and main bearings (I have already measured mains for proper clearance)
Fel Pro rear main seal
Mahle piston rings
What remains to be done, aside from assembly:
Hone block (I can do that with a ball hone for you if desired)
All new gaskets
I would suggest new lifters.
