So I am well on my way building my 502 BBC twin turbo for my Scarab, I have fitted an Engle TCS-7 Cam,Comp Cams double valve springs, Hydraulic flat tappets, pushrods, magnum rockers, timing gear set and a few bits that go with it.
I am adding some wings to the sump for more capacity and mounting a remote double oil filter set up pre turbos so my first question is regarding what oil pump to use, I have already purchased an high flow high pressure pump but am now wondering if I should have kept standard pressure?
I am also looking at getting rid of the waterpump for a crossover kit(Big Block Chevy Water Inlet Crossover Kit with Bypass - CP Performance), I have no experience in this area is this a good idea?
Would I be right in thinking that the water might be a bit on the cold side going into the block directly, I plan on plumbing the raw water through my chargecooler first then through the heat exchanger for the oil and powersteering fluid then to crossover but will that suffice?
