Shaft Misalignment Problem

Ran into an issue while replacing my shaft seal. When I took everything apart, I noticed that the shaft had been wearing on the side of the log. I thought maybe it was because of a worn seal or something. Now that I have the new parts from D21, I'm in the middle of putting it back together. Once the shaft is pushed in the coupler, it is very off center and rubbing on the log. I don't want to leave it this way. The previous owner took everything out and added a whirl away. Could it be the mid-plate was put in backwards or the possibly the braces where put back in on the wrong sides. I've loosened all the bolts on the vdrive braces to see if I can rotate it. Doesn't make any difference. Kinda lost as to what to try next. Rain,rain,rain and rain that’s what’s been going on. This crummy weather is the precursor to the wonderful lower humidity that’s coming our way. Nothings better than floating around in the sunshine with a slight cool breeze and a blue sky…its coming. Sunday afternoons spent floating around eating a picnic lunch. We’ve been known to do a little boating in the rain but not the heavy down pours we’ve been having so what are the boating Bekemeyer’s to do? Well we still do some thinking about boating and we decided to make an Adventure in Boating Facebook page.



We just added our page yesterday and have already met some new boaters in our hometown and are planning a get together soon with this new boating family. We are looking forward to posting pictures in real time and expanding communication between fellow boaters. It’s the whole reason we started our website to encourage boating families. We’ll also be able to post events and get the message out about what’s happening in the area. This Fall brings boating races, Toys for Tots boat run, waterside family events in Tavares and Eustis and Christmas boat parades.

Are any of you guys proficient with diesels?

My Dad has a 39' Bayliner with twin Cummins 5.9 6BTA 330hp diesels with 800-900 hours. This is their third diesel powered boat, however this is the first one to have an issue with a bit (just barely visable) of black smoke in the exhaust and black soot (more than a bit) on the transom. They have owned the boat for three years and this has just become an issue within the past year, no issues the previous two years.



We've done a fair bit of research and identified some possible causes. I hate to send him down the list, throwing money at each one until it's solved.



My relatively uneducated opinion is it's most likely in need of fuel injector servicing which has never been done, but would like to hear some educated opinions too.

Needles Vacation!

I am sure many of you are like me today... first day back to work and wishing we were back in Needles! Thanks again to all my wonderful friends and family that made this year so special. Its hard to believe we got our 83 year old folks down another year to enjoy their boat and friends. Thanks to so many of you who welcomed them and even helped them out of their boat or pool a few times. They had a blast.

Shan as you know you were missed this year but I know it wont happen again... :no:

Flyn Ryan... you brought back the song "Smoke on the Water" when you did the cookout on the beach... what a blast.



Special thanks to Mike and Rick Pelphry who did their annual cookout within hours of losing their father... I felt privileged to be a part of your ceremony the next day.

NC Boat Storage

Contemplating moving from CA to NC eventually and have noticed most houses in the Raleigh-Durham area seem to only have 2 car garages and 2 car driveways. Where do you guys store your boats in NC? Most houses seem to have fairly large lots. Do you store them on the lot somewhere in the open or in a shed?



For reference, I currently have a two car garage but my driveway is 3 cars wide so I have room for the boat.

Just wanted to say that the 1000 foot course is more than a notion, the 149 Tsunami was consistent at being too fast.

Our numbers were: 5.762, 5.866, 5.800 and after Cyclone Speed & Marine, Jim Brock worked his option on the last qualifying run, 6.003. :)Unsure

The Tsunami qualified #1, but in the finals, the air was better and broke out - 5.829.

Guy busted his butt for the last two months on my new deal. The new motor is an animal. Picked up a full tenth of a second. Huge Thank you goes out to Mike for this motor! Consistent as could be, I didn't have my tuner at the track but I was able to do most of it myself, we ran a 5.99, 6.01, 6.03 and 6.04 this weekend. Unfortunately I got caught sleeping on the lights in the 2nd round vs. Rauscher and lost. The main focus for this deal was to test the motor and be back in action ready for round 6 in Lake Havasu!

First off I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to Joe and his family.. I personally don't know Joe but I have good friends close to him.. I pray for a full recovery and hope to see you back at soon..



Second I have to say thanks to NJBA, Mike D, Josh P, Shelfo and the rest of guys that put this race on along with the guys that donated to the prize money!!! You guys did a great job and as always you guys put on a great show!!! We struggled pretty bad but still had a great time!!!! I wish I lived closer, we would be there more often for sure!!!!



3rd I need to think my oldman for giving me the oppoortunity to drive his boat.. That thing is the true reason why I love driving flats!!! What a piece of art!!! We had a HUGE stumble all weekend and with that and starting it back up in gear we still managed to run 4.43 to the 660'.. They didn't give us a 1000' number on our safety pass.. I have to say thanks to my crew, Richard, Brian, Steph, Jerry and Zach.. Without you guys this wouldn't had been possible.. Thanks D-21 for giving us a leak free boat as usual!!!



Lastly I need to say thanks to Joey and Ron Grose for always being able and willing to give us a hand along with attempting to loan us a battery for 1st round against Tony (thanks for waiting!!).. You guys are a class act!!!! Thanks to Rick Box and Thurston (I believe) for attempting to help us with battery issues!!! I would also like to thank the team that basically, with not so many words, told my crew member to F off.. Thanks for the help there boss!!!!

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and at the present time boat less. I have owned 3 boats in my life time - the first being a Rick Bitz v-drive pickle fork hydro with a mild 454 / my next boat was a Mako runner bottom with a healthy 427 / and my last boat was a blown Daytona jet , a really nice boat but my least fav. So now looking for a 4 seater ski hydro (v-drive of coarse) maybe in the spring. Wondering what are the different ski Hydros out there. Hondo so far is what I'm drawn to for look wise with the molded in back splash and squared back end (I think the Bitz hydro was a copy of of the Hondo) Looking for some in put and some education on all the hydros built.

26 Daytona thru hull pickup question

Any opinions on thru hull water pickup for engine on starboard sponson? I have one on the port sponson for my chiller that works great. I have heard rumors that it's not a good idea on the starboard do to propeller causing lift on starboard from right hand rotation props?.. I think with a boat this big, there is no to little lift on one side of the boat from prop rotation.



the reason for thru hull is due to water hose blowing off the upper drive, and to change it I , "think" the engine has to come out to get to the connection where it connects to the boat.

[Question] Speed coating on struts / rudders

I'm in the process of cleaning up the bottom of my Hondo GT runner and I want to add some speed coating while I'm at it. I've seen other flats with the rudder and strut coated with speed coat but the LODBRS rule book says no coatings on the strut or rudder. This boat will be used mostly at the lake with some occasional KDBA races and Wheatland so I'd like to have some sort of protection on the strut and rudder.

990 heads flow numbers?

Picked up a set of used 990 heads as mine were destroyed. They have been worked over pretty well. 2.35/1.94 stainless valves, fully ported/polished, heads shaved to 113cc combustion chambers. All work was fresh with zero miles on the heads. I've pretty much already decided on the isky 280 mega jet boat cam. Just curious on what these heads are capable of? Kind of worried they may be too big for my application. The price was right and I'm on a budget.

This is a short video of the bad nos drag outboard verses the puny 400 ci turbo placecraft at the once a year outlaw race on red river. And he took off before the horn. This race was from an idle in gear to 660 ft. Kinda like running against a gullwing. Quick data 2 showed 115 mph in that distance.

[Question] Hp vs torque vs impeller sizing

This is something that has confused me for a long time. I know that we (typically) size an impeller to absorb the max hp that the engine makes at whatever rpm that HP peak occurs.

I guess you would go slower if you sized the impeller to absorb the max torque the engine makes at whatever rpm that torque peak occurs.

Example...

Pick your engine but it is a powerful motor oh say in the 1000 HP range with a reasonably flat torque curve

It's peak HP is at 6900 RPM

Peak torque is at 5400 RPM



What would be the performance difference if you had two impellers, one sized to hold the engine at peak torque and the other to hold the engine at Peak HP, all else being identical.

I know this is an age old question but it still bugs me. It would seem to me that the lower RPM set up would be more efficient in terms of MPH per RPM and fuel usage but probably would not be the fastest set up of the two. I figure somewhere between the two peaks would be best.

Just wondering out loud here. And there is actually a reason for my madness. :)

New guy with first I/O.......................Galaxie Day Cruiser

Hi all,

I jut bought myself what I hope turns out to be an ok use of my money. It is a 1978 Galaxie day cruiser from what the title says but when I do a search online at iBoats they say it ha to be a 1979 model. Now I can't find hardley anything on Galaxie Boats of CA. Haven't found what model name I have or anything like that. The boat is going to need a complete new interior and then maybe a rebuild on the engine. I don't know about the OMC outdrive either as this is my first I/O I have had outboards on all my boats before this. It looks like everything is there on the outdrive other than the broken tilt/trim gear. I've got to finish cleaning out the boat and then I can go from there on the engine. I do need to drain the oil from the engine since it has water in it. The engine is missing the distributor so of course water and other junk has fallen down into the engine. I am wondering at this point if it might just be better to pull the engine and tear it down plus have it checked for sizing and wear. Then if needed I can install oversized pistons, or bearings plus new rings. Then slap it back together and go play. Well as long as it floats and doesn't need anything else.



So here are some shots of what I'm working with,















The good things about it are? Hull is in great shape, no holes that I have found yet. Very little damage to fiberglass on nose. The trailer is in great shape also just missing on clearance light. The engine is a 351 Marine engine from Ford so shouldn't have any issues finding parts for it or rebuilding it when and if the time comes.



Does anyone know of a good shop in the PNW that does boat interiors? I found West Coast Marine interiors but they are in southern CA and I am in central WA.

What is a fair price for a Gen VI long block? And could I use a set of 049 heads on it? Working on a project boat and need a motor. It is a jet boat. I'm only looking to be around the 550hp mark for this boat. Jam going to have it built and gone through. I just need a motor to start with. Any tips or advice appreciated.

I'm getting a surge, almost a miss, between 3200 and 3800 rpm.

The motor is a 508 BBF, 12:1, .715" lift mechanical roller, timing set at 34 total. Rings, bearings, timing set, valve job, lifers and rockers this season, but the bottom end is basically the same combo as last year. What's new is the Trick Flow intake, 1150 Dominator and scoop. 86 (92's from factory) and 102 jets with a 5.5 power valve (factory). I'm thinking the power valve should be a 3.5 (as in the 925cfm carb I replaced) or maybe a 2.5. There aren't any vacuum ports on this carb or manifold. Hoping the experts can help me out here, not sure the PV would even cause this problem. Thanks

My belated introduction

Hello, I was the typical lurker, read stuff here and there. Then I became a member for some reason I can't remember. I saw a few people getting "the business" on here because they introduce themselves. I wasn't sure what to write. In my opinion, I am not good at those sorts of things. Then I started commenting here and there with a couple questions. In 2011 or so I found a boat my Dad built over the winter of 70/71 and sold to a guy in April of 1974. And that guy still had it. I knocked on the door and introduced myself. They remembered me. We talked for some time and I told the couple that if they ever decided to sell, to please keep me in mind. He invited me to come out for a ride. Well, they both had a rough year and became ill. Well now they are doing better, but not 100%, so the opportunity came up for me to buy it, 40 years later. So now that I picked it up last Friday, I have a variety of questions I will be asking and felt I would post some background.

I grew up on a small inland lake in Michigan and around boats. Luckily, almost all V-Driven. Mom & Dad were building a rosewood deck Kindsvater while I was incubating in 1966. Dad worked on and built boats in our garage at home as side work. Aside from customers, my Dad built 3 flatbottoms for himself and 2 daycruisers that I can remember. I was able to do a little bit of travel IF Mom & Dad were willing to cart me along to the drag boat races. I remember going to a race where I rode on the plastic center console of a 68 ElCamino to Virginia and back. I didn't care, I loved it. My parents were part of the people who helped get the races going in Columbiaville Michigan in 1973. Then in 1973, Dad felt too many friends were getting hurt and he didn't want to be one of them. So he sold his last race boat. (the one I just bought). With the last daycruiser we started to travel. We went to Lake Powell, Parker, Havasu, Flathead Lake, (From Michigan, is that almost Idaho?) Yellowstone Lake, Jackson Lake and Dale Hollow Reservoir that I can remember. As well as multiple lakes around Michigan, mostly northern lower peninsula. Those trips were from 1977 through 1983 as my Dad passed in 1984. I Drifted over into drag cars (I helped a few friends etc, but never had my own), but still kept in touch with boats, waterskiing etc. Got married to a great wife in 2003. Started a family with a daughter in January & a son in December of 2008. Bought a 2009 pontoon in 2010. Just recently bought back a flatbottom my Dad built in 1970, raced 1971 - 1973. And sold in April of 1974 to the family I just bought it from. My Mom now lives in my Grandparents house on Wolverine Lake, so we mostly boat there these days. Funny side note to the traveling story. Mom and Dad were always going to Long beach, and went to Bakersfield once. Plus lots of trips picking up boats in California. So I always wanted to go to California. We were in Arizona, I think visiting a friend in Kingman. Anyways we were driving south and were in Needles. I said something to my Dad about California. So he drove across the bridge and stopped about 100 yards into California and told me to get out of the car. I did. Then he said get back in and he was going to make a U-turn back to Arizona. I said that wasn't much different than what Arizona looked like. So he drove another mile or two up the road and made me get out again. Then he said now you can say you've been to California and he went back to Arizona. I miss him!

I hope this qualifies as somewhat of an introduction and satisfies my requirements.

newbie spark plug question

Hey guys just signed up finally, lots of great info here. I've got a 70 Sanger 17-10 with a merc 454 with 427 heads, tunnel ram with two holleys and a vertex mag. It's got autolight 404 spark plugs in it now and I want to put new plugs. What are good plugs to use. I'm not a fan of autolights.

What a great day of boating we enjoyed this Sunday the skies were beautiful and the air had just a tad less humidity the lake was glistening and smooth as glass. Most of the time we like to tell you about places to go, tips on products or safety today I want to share the “family” part of our family boating website.



We have a son Joe I would say he’s our little guy but he’s not so little anymore he turns ten in a few weeks and he’s not so little he stands five foot tall and has a three digit weight. He’s a good looking kid with a heart of gold and like his dad he loves boating. He’s been boating since he was seven months old when we bought our first boat. We don’t take big vacations often, go to theme parks every weekend in fact he’s only been to Disney once but we boat almost weekly. We believe the time we spend as family together seeing Florida in all its beauty, exposing him to new places and nature and just spending time with him is worth a million. We don’t own a gaming system and he doesn’t lock himself up in his room he prefers to spend time with us and we’re gonna make it last as long as we can. He’s had experiences seen and learned thing that not many nine year olds have a manatee six inches away, beautiful springs and rivers and how to band together and ride out a storm literally and come out on the other side victorious.



Today his daddy started teaching him to drive the boat. His dad stood right next to him guiding him left or right, how to drive straight through the wake and to look out for other boats. It was precious the pride he felt learning something new guided by his dad he’ll never forget it. Before you get worried we practiced the utmost safety using the empty side of the lake clear of boaters. The point is time goes fast make the most of the time you have with your kids and find something you all love to do and do it. We hope you’ll choose boating.

OK guys I have a 30 over 454 11.5:1 aluminum 310 ported heads,solid roller .660 lift 245 intake and 253 exhaust duration cam.tunnel ram 660 carbs. Cam says 4500-6500 rpm. Jet boat levels out at 5700 rpm with b impeller. Cam is in at 109*advanced.i wanna retard it to see if I can get more rpm. whats a good number to try?

Rob was on fire. he was cutting lights left and right in fact he had 2 .006 lights along with a bunch of .0 lights. he also ran 9.02,9.02,9.04,9.08 on Sat. come race day he walked away with a 1st in the 9's and a 1st in Super E class, along with with the best RT time and the Best Race Team award. and if that was not enough he also clinched the 9's high points for CDBA for the year and the Super E class high points for the year.

BBF stroker engine build questions

Hello all,

I am preparing to take on my first BBF engine build project. I have a couple of questions. I am looking at a set of locally available Waterman aluminum rods that I can buy NIB for $150. They have a length of 6.635", 2.2" Chevy rod journal size and 1.040" wrist pin size (factory BBF?) I am curious, are there any pistons that would allow for me to offset grind my factory crank 0.290" with a 2.2" rod journal and run a 6.635" rod? If so, that may make my build more budget friendly. If not, what applications do these 6.635" Chevy rod journal rods fit?



I will have lots of other questions related to this build, but wanted to start out asking about these rods specifically.

Is an oil cooler needed ?

I have a customer that is replacing his 260 horse with a built 383, New one piece seal block Dart aluminum heads, Bullet HYD roller cam, Champ 8 quart pan, Looking at appox. 425 to 450 horse and should have it on the dyno for a final number tomorrow.



This will be run in fresh water only the boat is 19 foot.



Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Early Corvette motor in my boat...run it or sell it??

I recently bought a v-drive boat that came with a 1968 427 435hp BBC in. The heads are actually 1966 Hi Perf heads. After talking to a couple of folks they seem to think these are some parts that are getting harder to come by and should be in an early Corvette or Camaro and not trying to propel my sled across the water.



Anybody got any thoughts on this??

California Speedboat Association is inviting you to participate in an event we are putting on with NCOA at Nicolaus, CA on Lake Minden to be held Saturday October 11 and Sunday October 12.



In addition to vintage static display and vintage on water fly by's there will be Crackerbox inboard racing, Sport C, 45SS, PRO, MOD, Stock and J Class outboard racing sanctioned by the American Powerboat Association. Safety and Rescue being provided by APBA Region 11 Rescue.



The cost to show your boat in a static display is only $50 for the entire weekend. To get on the water and perform a fly by exhibition add $30 per day. For fly by's, If you are not an APBA member you will need to pay an additional $25 event fee to APBA, your boat must pass a safety inspection and you'll need to have, or borrow, an APBA sanctioned helmet and life vest.

While thumbing through the "Az voters guide/sample ballot" that came inthe mail I happened to stop at the Prop 304 explanition page. It's really a simple Prop, it raises Az Legislators yearly salary from 24K to 35K !!!... I had to ask myself, "is this a trick question?" From what I understand Az Legislators only work "part time" because unlike the hacks in DC they're only scheduled to work part time.. But, an 11K raise?? Thats over $900 a month raise for part timers!! Am I missing something here?? IMO, this is a no brainer NO vote....

Olds 455 Mechanical Fuel Pump

Hello All,

I have discovered that my fuel pump on my rig simply won't keep up with the demand of the engine at full throttle. As soon as the vac secondaries open the engine falls on its face. I can't pull any more than 4000rpm as I stated in my other thread. I would prefer to keep a mechanical fuel pump on it, but i understand if this would be a foolish option, and would like someone to tell me flat out if I am wasting my time.



That being said, would one of these be a viable mechanical option?

Is this combo OK for racing?

I'm going to try boat racing. Never have before, only 4 wheel racing.

I have 17'6" rear mount, Vdrive boat with a 383SBC. 22% in Vdrive.

The engine was originally street/strip car engine.

It's old style build, machined down 400 cast crank, 400 rods, shotpeened with ARP rodbolts, SpeedPro flat top pistons. Balanced, Fluidamper. Crane CC278 solid flat tappet cam. 238/244@.050", .480"/500". Cam is a bit small, but have a set of 1.6 rockers, & a set of 1.7's, so hopefully bandaid it up a bit.

I'm going to fit a set of RHS 220 heads, 64cc, Around 10.7-1 CR. Super Victor manifold and 825 D/P. Extractors over the back.

I'm hoping for at least 450P & closer to 500.

I'm a bit worried whether the short engine will be strong enough for racing?

Racing is circuit, between 2 buoys, 2 laps/race. (2mins+)



Any comments appreciated, as I'm new to this.

Is this combo OK for racing?

Free Land and Sea jack plate w/gauge (non-working)

Jack stopped working a couple months ago and is in the highest position. The ram starting leaking about six months ago but pump appears to be full. Relays click and motor makes noise but nothing happens. The gauge did work before jack quit. From what I've read there aren't a whole lot of parts for these so this might have some parts worth salvaging for someone that has one on their boat.

Noob question...

I'll apologize in advance, but I just got into a little jet boat and it looks like a lot of guys end up gravitating toward v-drives once they get a taste of going fast. Inevitably ill probably end up shopping for a v-drive to build in the next year or 2 and its never too early to start learning. Ive seen flats, "true" flats, runner bottoms, k boats, sprints, circle boats and who knows what else I'm forgetting. I know I'm probably not the first person to ask but what type of boat is good for what application? I'm sure some of it has to be a chevy vs. ford thing, and gonna get a different opinion depending on who's answering and who's loyal to what, but lets hear it anyway. I'm sure some are better drag boats, some better in rougher water, etc but i have no idea what some of the differences in these things are. And if I kinda get an idea I can narrow down what to look for. Thanks and hope u guys don't flame me too hard haha

Water On Spark Plugs

Hey all, was wondering if you guys could shed some light on my situation. Took the boat out this morning for the third time since I have had it and each time has been a pain in the a$$. This boat is a ball buster but I like it so I'm gonna stick with it. So I thought I weeded out all the issues I thought I was having. Thought today would possibly be a good day at the lake but I was wrong. Got to the launch ramp, fired it up real quick before putting it in the water. Ran no longer than three to for seconds. Fired up great.



Dropped it in the water and went for a start, took a little bit but it did start. Idled it to the open water and I noticed even at idle the breathers were smoking pretty good. Gave it some throttle and it wasn't very impressive but it was moving okay I guess. When I would step on it the engine got louder but not faster and the breathers were smoking heavily and spurting out oil and condensation. After about three to four minutes, I felt loss of power. So I limped the boat back to the launch ramp. About 100 yards from the ramp, the motor died and would not start.



Got the boat home and took out the spark plugs. I noticed three out of the four spark plugs on the passenger side of the motor were clean and wet with water. Took off the valve covers and noticed some water and oil mixture in the head tray on the passenger side. Checked the oil, no water in the oil pan. Checked the plugs on the drivers side and they were black as if that side was running rich.



Checked the compression and none of the cylinders had enough compression to even register on the compression tester except the two rear cylinders. That makes sense I guess since the breathers were breathing smoke and oil violently which indicates massive pressure in the crank case most likely from the pressure passing the rings and into the crank case. But where is the water in those three cylinders coming from. Do I have massively bad rings and a blown head gasket?



I guess the real question I have is, does anyone have a good BBC they want to let go at a really reasonable price for a fellow boater in need??? :bangmyhead:

26' Trailer is very clean inside (no smoke or pet odors) and has a rear private bedroom with a Dreamfoam queen mattress. Front kitchen, with dinette and sofa (both turn into beds). Microwave, 4 burner stove with oven and dual sink.Has a fridge (needs new cooling unit).

Plenty of storage as well.

Trailer gets extra cold. Also has a stereo with weatherproof outdoor speakers and new interior speakers.



Great neighbors and lots of friends, we bought the spot 5 years ago and are only selling because we are trading up. Trailer has been there for many years and is well sorted, clean and ready to enjoy.

Symptoms:



off the trailer, idle out of cove, lightly accel up off of plane and cruise at ~3-3500 smoothly. Hammer down motor will spin up to 47-4800 an stay, power feels ok, but not what would expect. If you hold it there at WOT it will slowly start dropping revs and begin to break up. Back off and it will collect itself and cruise again. Longer you run the motor the worse it gets, to the point it wont even pull 4500 smoothly, and cruising at 3-3500 motor doesnt sound 'collected', a little rough. Is still very responsive, but will only take the first hit of throttle strongly them immediately go to breaking up.



Very confused, looking for and would greatly appreciate some advice. We've chased fuel(going rich to point of gagging it) and ignition(all brand new components aside from distributor itself,box and coil have their own dedicated grounds to battery) with making no difference.

hoping some experience will point me in the right direction . I have a 460 with red msd 6-a box and dist. and blaster coil , all quite old . last few days ,boat fires up runs for a bit then quits ,no spark. By the time i get home ,it fires up.

Any reputable mobile rigger/gel-coater in Southern Cal or Bullhead City/Needles area?

I need some work done on my jet boat... Mostly re-gelcoating the bottom to get rid of the few scratches as the result of beaching and also someone who is really good at removing the existing goop from where my Dominator pump attaches to the transom and redo it cleanly and in the process take care of the leak.



I prefer for someone to come to my house and do it there, rather than taking it to some shop and have it sit there forever and keep being told to call them back next week (I'm sure u all know what I mean)... The boat is in Bullhead city/Needles area but if there is nobody in that area, I'm willing to tow it down to my house in Orange County to get it done there...



Any references that you guys can provide, is certainly appreciated...

What are you guys using to operate your bucket and pop off? I have the Clippard Maximatic's running at 16V system and with a 150 psi regulator, I have used up 2 of them. I am going to reduce the regulator size to 110 or so. I called Clippard this is their economy line of solenoids and are not rated for 150, 125 psi max.
